Australian Adam Scott completed a fantastic four days golf with a bogey-free round of 65 to win the World Golf Championship Bridgestone Invitational 17 under par, four shots ahead of closest rivals Luke Donald and Rickie Fowler who finished 13 under par.
Adam Scott got off to a flying start in the Bridgestone Invitational with a 8 under par round of 62, just one shot off the course record. However, he failed to build on his lead on the during the second round hitting a level par 70 and allowing Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley and Ryan Moore to join him at the top of the leaderboard at 8 under par for the tournament.
By the end of the third round Adam Scott had regained his place at the top of the leaderboard after a round of 66 with Ryo Ishikawa and Jason Day both a shot behind at 11 under par.
On the final day Adam Scott was paired up with second place Ryo Ishikawa who was aiming to become the youngest winner on the PGA Tour for 100 years but Scott proved too strong and finished with a 5 under par 65 to finish at 17 under par for the tournament.
