Omega Dubai Desert Classic

Scotland's Stephen Gallacher has won the Omega Dubai Desert Classic by a 3 shot margin, finishing with a tournament score of 22 under par at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.

Gallacher had scores of 63 and 62 in the 1st and 3rd rounds gave him the edge over the rest of the field having carded less impressive scores of 70 and 71 in 2nd and 4th round.

In second place Richard Sterne came in with a tournament score of 19 under par while Felipe Aguilar and Thorbjorn Olesen tied 3rd place a further 2 shots behind the tournament winner at 17 under par. Marcus Fraser and Lee Westwood shared 5th place at 16 under par.
