The 2012 PGA Championship will be held at The Ocean Course at the Kiawah Island Resort, Kiawah Island in South Carolina between Thursday August 9th and Sunday August 12th.

The PGA Championship 2012 field will include a maximum of 156 players. The provisional field as of July 30th included a line-up of 154 players. The winners of the Bridgestone Invitational and Reno-Tahoe Open were to take the remaining two spots in the field. However, the tournament winner's Keegan Bradley and J.J. Henry respectively have already been named in the PGA Championship field.

After rounds 1 and 2 of the 2012 PGA Championship the 70 players will the lowest scores and ties will make the cut for rounds 3 and 4.
