The Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup 2011 will be played at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia between the 24th and 27th of November.

The tournament was lasted played at the club in 1998 when Jack Nicklaus led the U.S. Team to victory 20 ½ points to 11 ½ points. The Presidents Cup is a charity event and instead of awarding prize money the proceeds of the event go to charity. The players, captains and captains assistants nominate which charities they’d like to see The Presidents Cup purse donated to. $13,000,000 was raised for charities all over the world by the first six Presidents Cups.
