Tiger Woods Australian Open Leader After The Second Round

Emirates Australian Open

Tiger Woods tops the Australian Open leaderboard at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney after a 5 under par 67 in the second round.

Tiger Woods finished the second day of the Emirates Australian Open at the top of the leaderboard with a one stroke advantage over second place Peter O’Malley. In what has been a rocky season for the former number one, tomorrow’s third round will mark the first time Woods has resumed play with an overnight lead in a professional tournament. One of Woods’ player partners, Australian and world rankings number 7 Jason Day is in third place at 7 under par.

Despite Tiger’s 67 being enough to take him to first place it was Peter O’Malley who shot the lowest round score of the day with a 6 under par 66.
