The FedEx Cup purse was $35,000,000 for the 2015 PGA Tour Playoffs. The winner of the 2015 FedExCup, Jordan Spieth, received 1st prize payout of $10,000,000 in addition to the Tour Championship winner's check of $1,485,000.

The win in the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup brought Jordan Spieth's PGA Tour season total prize winnings to $22,030,465. Breaking the record set by Tiger Woods in 2007 of $20,867,052 earnings in a season.

Sweden's Henrik Stenson finished second in the FedEx Cup rankings and collected a $3,000,000 share of the prize fund. Australia' Jason Day's third place finish earned him $2,000,000 prize money. The top 150 players in the FedEx Cup standings received payouts between $10,000,000 and $32,000.
